2023-06-09: I purchased quite a few 27C256 ROMs over the last while to fix some computer boards. Some came erased. Some didn't. These are the ones that didn't come erased... I can't really tell what these ROMs were used for as their stickers had been peeled off, but there was one that caught my eye - Chinon CD-525 ROM. What sort of CD-ROM drive uses a 28 Pin 256k ROM in it? Someone, somewhere may need these obscure ROMs to restore their drives...

2023-06-09:

TMS27C256-12 (ZIP-BIN, 32KB) This ROM starts out with the phrase 'Chinon CD-ROM CDS-525 V09'

unknown ROM on NMC27C256Q (ZIP-BIN, 32KB)

Unknown ROM on TMS27C256 (ZIP-BIN, 32KB) Has phrases such as 'DCR-MOD IREV2:06 ' and 'NEC CD-ROM DRIVE:2604.23' in it.

Unknown ROM 2 on TMS27C256 (ZIP-BIN, 32KB) partially erased? has phrase 'NEC CD-ROM DRIVE 5'

Unknown ROM 3 on TMS27C256 (ZIP-BIN, 32KB) similar to above ROM with phrase 'NEC CD-ROM DRIVE 5' in it. did not do compare.

If anyone can ID the ROMs, I'd be curious to know where they come from. I did find pictures of the Chinon CDS-525 from an old eBay auction, but the rest are a mystery to me.
