Shipping policy
Handling:
- Most orders are shipped within 48 hours.
- All products are stocked at our location; We do not drop-ship from other suppliers.
Carriers & Shipping Services:
- USPS:
- Typical pickup time is around 1PM ET.
- USPS Ground Advantage: Typically 2-5 business days. Up to 70lbs. $100 Insurance & Tracking included. More info here.
- USPS Priority Mail: Typically 1-3 business days. Up to 70lbs. $100 Insurance & Tracking included. More info here.
- USPS Priority Mail International (Canada Only): Typically 6-10 business days. Up to 70lbs. $200 Insurance and Tracking included. More info here.
- USPS First-Class Package International (Canada Only): Up to 4lbs. No Insurance. Tracking in USA. Delivery Confirmation. More info Here.
- UPS
- Typical pickup time is around 3PM ET.
- UPS Ground: Typically 1-5 business days. Up to 150lbs. $100 Insurance & Tracking included. More info here.
- UPS Worldwide Saver (Canada Only): Typically 1-3 business days. $100 Insurance & Tracking included. More info here.
- Local pickups are not available at this time. (We don't have a storefront.)
Shipping Carrier Mistakes (Lost packages, Damage, etc):
- Please remember that we are not a shipping carrier. We do not deliver packages. We also didn't lose or damage your package during transit. Please direct all blame & responsibility where it belongs. We will try to help, but we have to deal with the carrier to get it resolved...
- It is important you are physically present at the shipping address when the shipment is delivered. We will not accept responsibility if the carrier leaves the package without your acceptance, leaves the package without a signature, or leaves the package with anyone other than the addressee. Deliveries to drop-off locations such as rented mailboxes, post office (PO) boxes, the UPS Store, USPS military post office boxes, freight forwarders, shared pickup locations such as mail rooms, etc., are not eligible for any claims if the package tracking indicates it was delivered by the carrier.
- USPS:
- USPS claims can be submitted by the buyer or seller.
- We strongly recommend completing a help request form. These go to the post office where the last scan occurred.
- Missing Mail Search Requests can be filed HERE. They will show up on the package tracking within 24 hours. USPS typically wants to know how it was packaged (we do keep track of this)
- Insurance Claims can be filed HERE. If a product was damaged in shipping, USPS requires that the package and contents be delivered to your local post office.
- A response is typically received in 7 to 10 business days.
- UPS:
- All insurance claims need to be submitted by Quagmire Repair with our 3rd party shipping provider, Pirate Ship. Please contact us to get a claim started. We will need pictures of the product/package to file a claim.
- UPS may contact you to pickup the package. Please keep the package, contents and all packing materials.
- A response is typically received in 5 to 10 business days.
Buyer Mistakes (wrong address, incomplete address, etc):
- We cannot cancel, reship or refund orders where a package has been misdelivered, delayed, or in transit back to the sender due to the buyer using a wrong, incorrect or incomplete 'ship to' address on the order.
- We cannot make any changes to the 'ship to' address after the order has been received by the carrier.
- It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that the 'ship to' address is correct, complete and is the intended address for delivery.
Other Notes:
- Shipping charges are not refundable once a package has been scanned by the carrier.
- Carrier assumes all responsibility for the package after the first pickup scan.
- Buyer assumes all responsibility for the package after the delivery scan.
- Quagmire Repair LLC reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason. We reserve the right to reject or refuse any claims or claims for losses for any reason.
